This is just a brief explanation of the process I use to produce for HDR photography. Many photographers use a similar process, but will vary from person to person of course.
What is HDR Photography?
Ok if that didn’t make sense just go with this definition: The Magic of HDR~EXPLAINED! Point your camera at something that looks pretty normal. Just tell your camera you want a Dope Result from it. and POOF magic is made! Simple..brought to life with the magic of HDR photography (Honestly. Dope. Results.)
I try to be funny, don’t worry about it. Here is probably the easiest way to show you what happens.
+1 Exposure 0+- Exposure -1 Exposure
You can see that in the darks/shadows (under tree for example) are actually light, you can see what’s there. Likewise in the bright parts you get way more reflections (on the wall/floor). So you see that ALL of the light is normally there, just our eye, and the cameras eye, can’t grab it all in one glance. You may have seen photos like this, some do not look great, a lot of my early attempts at this are terrible, but after you really start to see it, you can produce stunning images !!Try it out for yourself !! In the future I will post in some more depth for those looking to explore HDR photography !! ALSO Keep reading about HDR! Click the image below to find out the good AND bad of HDR Photography!
