“The Best Photos? Really?” Ok well fine, the best of mine… Determined by popularity…
Really I should probably say the ‘most popular’ photos rather than the best photos of the month. But typically the ones that are the most popular turn out to be the best photos anyway… Sometimes… Actually there are a number of photos that I really love, but not many people are crazy about… Artists are so pretentious and stuff… Anyway it is now August so we have had another month come and go, and with that I bring to you Jesse Martineau’s best photos of July!
#5 A Tree. Taken in Kelowna, BC, Canada on a warm summer evening, if you look close enough you will see thousands of insects swarming… ya. This is an HDR image, I have a great introduction to HDR photography and a post about some of the good and bad of HDR (High Dynamic Range) photography.
#4. A Solar Flare. Again in Kelowna, BC (I was on holidays there) I asked the sun to wait for me to take a photo, he listened.
#3. A Ball. These ball shots are quickly becoming what I am known for! Kinda weird but I am OK with weird. Learn about adding an orb into your photos RIGHT HERE!
#2. A Mountain. Took this one in Jasper National Park, here in Alberta, Canada. It is a long exposure image, which is why the water looks like ice, learn about long exposure photography RIGHT HERE!
#1. A Reflection. And now the best, of the best photos of July! This photo blew up on Instagram mainly, which was pretty cool. I actually like this one as well! Taken in Jasper National Park once again!
Thanks once again for making it possible to have best photos of the month! Well I guess I could still do it, but it would only be me looking at my own photos… Anyway remember that you can purchase digital photos for as little as 99 cents! Each sale helps support my children from having to work at McDonald’s… 😛 check out the store RIGHT HERE. And be sure to stay current with my photos (I post almost daily) By following me on Google+ Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. All my photos can be seen RIGHT HERE in the gallery as well!
And also what photo is your favorite of July? It doesn’t have to be one from this post either! Check out the gallery make your pick, and comment below!
