The feeding Program is always a highlight.
Imagine 100 screaming children, OK wait don’t imagine that, that’s horrible. Imagine 100 HAPPY screaming children! Why are they happy? Largely because a few people take a bit of time to spend with them each week. Pretty simple really. I was recently in Guatemala, read Part one, and Two of the trip. How can a stoves change lives?
One of the great experiences I had on my recent trip to Guatemala (read part one here) was the opportunity to change some lives by installing a stove. Stoves in North America are used nearly daily, it isn’t different in other parts of the world. However the technology certainly is different. Most rural locations in Central and South America use open fires to cook all of their meals. This has a tremendous health impact on ALL people.Continue Reading
